How To Waste Time At Work

work has been crazy lately. we've been so, so busy as a shop, but that doesn't always mean my job is crazy. actually, it seems like the busier we are, as a whole, the slower my part is. don't ask my why that makes sense. so work has been so boring lately. i just took a little inventory of what i've done for the last 6 hours at work today, and aside from actual work (which i assure you, i've done plenty of, and am totally caught up on) is this:

drank 3 bottles of water
picked through the halloween candy bowl and stashed all the vanilla tootsie rolls in my drawer
brainstormed baby names (not pregnant) with the orem receptionist. (girl names are easier than boy names, am i right?)
disinfected my entire desk (our parts manager is sick and keeps coming up here and touching everything)
filled our oil diffuser with (too much?) "on guard" from doterra (i do NOT want to get sick!)
ran to the post office (and take as long as possible. i even drove the exact speed limit, instead of 9 over like normal)
turned my space heater on then off then on then off then on again. i can't decide if i'm hot or cold today.
yelled at a lady from the salvage pool (they are so rude over there!)
caught up on blogs
caught up on emails

and i still haven't even gone on my lunch break.
it's gonna be a loooong day.

today, kayla and zac have an appointment with the doctor to find out the gender of the baby, except they aren't going to find out! they are going to have the doctor put it in an envelope, and we are doing a big gender reveal party tonight. i have so much anxiety about it, because i'm so excited. there is so much i need to do for the party, but instead i have to just sit at work and wait until 5:00! it's going to be so cool. i will do a big post on it once she announces it! so far, we all think/hope it's a girl, but we will see!

  1. See, boy names are like a million percent easier for us! I have way more boy names I like. I always feel like we're gonna have a bunch of little boys. Maybe because that's what Ryan wants and always talks about. Can't wait to find out the gender! Tell them congrats!
