the girl | my name is katie. i'm 25 years old, from orem, UT. i studied mass communication with an emphasis in print journalism at dixie state college in st. george, UT, but after one year, my life turned around and upside down, so i moved back home in 2010, and that's when the adventure really began. i am openly addicted to diet coke, would rather be camping, and work for a securities company in real estate investment.

the guy | his name is devin. he's 29 years old. also from orem, UT. devin is currently enrolled in the outdoor recreation management program at UVU, and began working additionally toward a minor in digital media last year. he is a rock climbing guru, a gun nut, loves woodworking, and works as General Manager of Momentum Indoor Climbing in Lehi.

the dog | his name is cooper. he's three years old. he is a border collie / australian shepherd mix. we found him on ksl.com and took him home when he was 7 weeks old. he is the sweetest and most affectionate dog you'll ever know, he's a total mama's boy, and he loves to be doing absolutely whatever we are doing. coop loves being outside, playing with kids, wearing bandanas, and begging for food at dinner.

the baby | her name is Maylin. on October 8th, 2015 we welcomed our beautiful baby girl and life will never be the same! she is such a dream and we have loved every second of parenthood and look forward to watching her grow!

their life | we met at a wedding in the fall of 2010, were married may 26, 2011 and currently live in utah valley. we love camping, hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. we love designing and building furniture for our home. we love cooking together, trying new restaurants, throwing dinner parties, and playing with Coop. we don't have cable TV, but are huge netflix junkies. we are "The Office" fanatics/experts. we are best friends, and we're so excited to raise our little girl with a passion for all the things we love!
