i write here for this very reason. so life can be seen from my point of view, by whoever cares to see it this way. so you can climb inside of my skin and walk around in it. experience my experiences. i think a well rounded person is one who has the ability to view things and situations from limitless perspectives, and i think when people do just that, they are better for it. 

i've made it blatantly obvious for all my life, that my favorite book of all time has been and will forever be To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. i have collected copies of the book for years and have read it so many times, i could probably recite it to you backwards. i don't want to turn this into a synopsis of the book or an essay on the life lessons i have learned from it's pages. i will let you read it for yourself. in order for you to understand why this blog is called mockingbird, this is all you need to know.
